This 140A, N5380C belongs
to Thomas Jones of Snohomish WA.
This is a nice looking interior in N5380C. |
A 1949 140A, N9644A, with patroller doors
and a 100 hp Continental 0200. Owned by Robert Schindler of Sandy
UT. |
N9644A has nice brown interior with
Cessna 150 seats. |
"Sporty 140" is a 1948 model with
a 100 hp Continental 0200. Owned by Mark and Susi Shayne from
Lake Stevens WA. |
A 1946 C140 from up north. John Edwards of
Surrey BC spent quite a bit of time with a polish cloth before
showing up at Arlington. Nice interior also. |
Raymond McAdam from Parksville BC has his
1946 C140 for sale. |
Todd Mason from Centralia WA camped at Arlington
with his wife and two kids. I didn't ask him how it all fit in
the C140. |
16 year old Jon Vasilauskas flew N3163N to
Arlington from Chehalis WA. |
1946 C120, N77301, owned by Gene Crissey
of Deer Park WA. It also has a lifting handle. |
Even looking close you won't find dust on
this C140. With over 8,500 hours it hasn't had time to get any.
This is a local plane owned by Josh Schoneman and Andy Reece. |
Marc Hill of Marysville WA has this red and
white 1947 C140. One of many with the 100 hp Continental 0200.
With the reinforcement rings it is probably the Lucas/Emmet STC. |
Another Canadian export. Dave Zoppa brought
his 1947 C140 from Chilliwack BC. |
Something you don't see very often. Dave
Zoppa has a Jasco alternator installation. Nice. |
Mark McMillan brought this 1947 C140 to Arlington |
Mark's N2327N is another one with a lifting
handle |
You probably can't see this on Curtis Langholz's
1947 C120 but there is a lifting handle just forward of the horizontal
stabilizer. |
Note the aluminum trim below the headliner.
Neat idea. |
Those who have been to Oshkosh know the importance
of this picture. Taken at high noon on Saturday. |
Need a part for the 140? The market place
just might have it. |
No fly-in is complete without a North American
T-28. Imagine the slow lope of Wright 1820 radial as it taxis
by. |
A rare German "Stork" |
At Arlington you don't count RV's, just too
many of them. They filled up two acres of parking. The "Blackjack
Squadron" was there with at least 20 of them. |
I just had to take this picture. My favorite
homebuilt. |
